FTCH Corrib Fern
Fern was born in May 2016 as a result of a repeat mating between our FTCH Lurriga Cedar of Corrib and INT FTCH Waterford Galahad of Tasco. We were so pleased with our young dog Darcy at the time (who went on to become a FTCH) that we decided to go again with the same combination and we were not disappointed with what we got in Fern. She is a super bitch in every way, lovely temperament, excellent ability and very good looking. Fern was so easy to train and is a very honest bitch that loves to please every time she is worked. She won two Open Stake Field Trials in her first season competing and won numerous awards and in her second season she won the first and only trial she competed in! (Trials were cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic) This win earned her the title of Field Trial Champion, our sixth champion at Corrib Gun Dogs. We are very much looking forward to continuing to compete with Fern in her trials going forward with the hope of adding one or two more of her progeny to our kennels over the next few years. FTCH Corrib Fern’s eyes are clear, her hips are 7/6, elbows 0/0, blood tested clear of PRA, CNM, EIC, SD2 and HNPK.
